An interactive guide to exploring your
Sexual Sense of Self™
Thank you for engaging with Decoding You and thank you
for taking the time to take care of you!
This doctoral project, ‘Decoding You’, was created to assist in lifting the shadow of discrimination and toxic systemic stigma by filling the gap through the creation of an interactive and introspective website. There is power in knowledge and this website is designed by queer folxs to help other queer folx with their mental and sexual health.
Utilizing a web-based format allows for a user-friendly streamlined experience, privacy, and self-paced discovery. The website is not designed to label people or categorize someone as queer or kinky. The queer community is not a monolith and this project does not assume to encompass every queer experience and/or identity. However, the breadth of this project is intentional. This project intentionally addresses and explores the connective fibers on a larger level.
The 'Sexual Sense of Self™’ is all of us.
Decoding You is designed to be a data-driven compass, specific to queer folx, to assist in illuminating the users' truths by providing accurate information and a safe space for introspection from which the user will identify what lies within themselves.
Please share Decoding You liberally with other LGBTQ+ folxs who may benefit.
Decentering stigma and facilitating individual growth through introspection and knowledge is the mission of Decoding You.
Shame exists in the shadows of oppression, Decoding You casts light in the darkest of places harnessing the power of knowledge and empowering queer folx to embrace their differences and be internally liberated. When individuals become internally liberated this is how we can create great collective change.
Cheers to each and every one of you for being your own unique and fabulous self!
Congratulations! You made it through Decoding You and hopefully, are better for it. We are here when you need a refresher and, because the content hits a little different as life changes, feel free to come back when you need to.
Until then, take good care of yourself.
